Virginian-Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark September 11, 1920

Coral Floyd Barnes, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter M. Barnes, died last night 
at the residence of his parents, 1814 Highland Avenue. The funeral will take 
place this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the residence. Burial will be in Elmwood 
Cemetery. He was 1 year and 8 months old and is survived by his parents; two 
sisters, Mamie and Marion L. Barnes; and three brothers, Walter F., James F., 
and Samuel C. Barnes.

BARNES – At the residence of his parents, 1814 Highland avenue, Friday evening, 
September 10, 1920, CORAL FLOYD, son of Walter M. and Mammie S. Barnes, age 1 
year and 8 months.
Funeral services from the late residence THIS (Saturday) AFTERNOON, September 
11, at 2 p.m. Friends of the family invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood 
cemetery.
