Jeanette D. Hamlin Barnes, 59, of the 800 block of Smith St., died Dec. 25, 
1994, in Sentara Norfolk General Hospital. 

Mrs. Barnes was born in Norfolk. 

Survivors include her husband, Fletcher L. Barnes Sr. of the home; three 
daughters, Jeanette D. Barnes, Shelia Barnes-Gregg and Trina D. Barnes, all of 
Norfolk; four sons, Fletcher L. Barnes Jr. of Washington, D.C., Tyrone A. Barnes 
of Glen Burnie, Md., Shelton A. Barnes of Columbus, Ga., and Troy A. Barnes of 
Sweden; mother and father, Nancy H. Green and Wilford L. Green Sr. of Norfolk; 
two sisters, Joyce Felder of San Diego, Calif., and Terry L. Green of Norfolk; a 
brother, Wilford L. Green Jr. of Norfolk; and 13 grandchildren. 

A funeral will be conducted at noon Friday at Riddick Funeral Service by the 
Rev. Anthony Paige. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Viewing will be from 2 
to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. The family will be at the residence.
