Virginian Pilot December 14, 1973 

Willie Barnes of 427 Walker St., the husband of Mrs. Minnie Barnes, died 
Wednesday in a hospital.
A native of Ahoskie, N.C., he was a retired longshoreman of Local 1248 and a 
member of Queen Street Baptist Church.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 1 p.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel with 
burial in Roosevelt Memorial Park, Chesapeake.

Calvary
According to cemetery records and death certificate interment was in Calvary 
Cemetery in Norfolk.
