Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Barnes were conducted June 27 at the Antioch 
Baptist Church by the pastor, The Rev. J. W. Matthews.

She died at her residence, 1323 Chapel street June 23. A native of Gates County, 
NC, she had lived in Norfolk quite a few years.

Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Geneva Parker; two sons, Isaac Goodman, 
Gatesville, NC and James Benton of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Collie Coles of 
Suffolk, Mrs. Fannie Gatling, NY and two brothers Harvey Williams of Norfolk and 
Marvin Moody of New York. 

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
