NORFOLK - Mrs. Gladys Lee Barr, 82, of 961 Norview Ave, died Saturday in a 
hospital.
A native of Norfolk, she was a member of Episcopal Church of the Ascension. She 
was a member Of Westminister Chapter, Order Of Eastern Star No. 99, and a former 
member of the ladies Auxiliary of the Spanish American War.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Inez Sutton Harris, and Gladys B. 
Nicholson, both of Norfolk; a grandson, George F. Sutton of Virginia Beach; and 
a great-grandchild.
A funeral service will be held Monday at 11 a.m. in Episcopal Church of the 
Ascension by the Rev. Frank L. Rose, Jr. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 
Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Tidewater Drive Chapel, is in charge. The family 
will be at 961 Norview Ave., Norfolk.
