Norfolk - Mrs. Rosa Barrett, about 81, died Wednesday morning, Oct. 17, at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Robert B. Drew, 725 Chapel street.

Born in Southampton County, Mrs. Barrett came to this city 38 years ago and 
completed the rearing of her family here. She was a member of the First United 
Presbyterian Church on East Princess Anne road from which her funeral will be 
held Friday, Oct. 19, at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Irvin Elligan, pastor, 
officiating. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.

The deceased is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Robert B. Drew, Mrs. Calvin 
Hill, New Rochelle, NY; Mrs. Ida White of Orange, NJ; one son, Willie Barrett, 
and several other relatives.
