Walker, 113 Thirty-fourth street. Mr. Thomas had been under the care of a physician for some time, but his condition was not considered serious, and the end came as a distinct surprise. He had been a resident of Norfolk for the past 25 years, and is survived by three sons, in addition to the daughter aforementioned. The sons are: Frank D. Barrett of Baltimore and Thomas E. and Herbert H. Barrett of Norfolk. Seven grandchildren also survive. The funeral will be held at the residence Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by Rev. J.M. Rowland, pastor of Park Place Methodist Church. Interment will be made in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
