Besides his wife, he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Lorraine Gatling, Mrs. Hazel Holloway, Mrs. Myrtle Wood and Mrs. Mildred Savage; a son, Frances M. Barrom, Jr.; a sister, Miss Mattie Barrom, and four grandchildren, all of Norfolk. Mr. Barrom was a native and life-long resident of Norfolk and was well-known. He was a member of the Norfolk Police Department for 48 years and retired as a sergeant several years ago. Mr. Barrom was a member of Ideal Council, Jr. O.U.A.M., and St. Paul’s Episcopal Church. Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow afternoon at 4 o’clock. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
