Miss Imogene Barron, daughter of the late Commodore Samuel T. Barron of the U
United States and Confederate navies, and sister of W. T. Barron, and aunt of J
James S. Barron and E. R. Baird Jr., of Norfolk, died at her home in Essex C
County, Va., Tuesday, June 8, 1909.
The deceased was a woman possessed of many endearing traits of character and 
besides her relatives leaves many friends in this city and section, where she 
had frequently visited, who were drawn to her by the strong cords of friendship a
and affection and who will learn with deep sorrow of her passing away.
The funeral will be held from her late residence in Essex County, June 10, 
which will afford her many friends in this city opportunity to attend the
obsequies.
