BARRY'S FUNERAL TAKES PLACE TODAY Body Arrived Last Night From Martinsville - Husband Too Ill to Meet It Mrs. Cecil Griggs Barry, wife of James E. Barry, of Norfolk, died at Martinsville, Va., Wednesday night after an illness of eight months. Mrs. Barry, who was in the twenty-fifth year of her age had been away from Norfolk during her entire illness. Besides her husband, she is survived by her mother, a sister, Miss Bessie Griggs and a brother, Frank Griggs. She had many friends in Norfolk who will learn with sorrow of her death. The remains arrived here at 7 o'clock last night from Martinsville and would have been accompanied to Norfolk by Mr. Barry, but on account of having undergone recently an operation at St. Vincent's Hospital he was too weak to make the trip. The funeral will be held from the residence of James E. Barry, uncle of the husband, No. 386 Mariner Street, at 2:30 o'clock this afternoon. *********************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Cecil Griggs Barry, whose death occurred in Martinsville, Va., last Wednesday, was held from the residence of James E. Barry, No. 8 1-2 Mariner Street, at 2:30 o'clock yesterday, and was largely attended. The service was conducted by Rev. Father E. J. Walsh, associate pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church. There was a profusion of beautiful floral tributes. The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery. Following were the pallbearers: Roland Culpepper, Dr. Harry Wall, Thomas J. Hodges, Judge A. J.
