The solemn services were conducted by Rev. Father J. J. Doherty, pastor of St. Mary's Catholic Church, assisted by Rev. Father Hanley, of Portsmouth. A solemn requiem mass was sung by the choir, which was assisted by Rev. Father Power, formerly of this city, but now residing at Keene, N. H., where he has charge of a church. The interment was in the Catholic Cemetery, and the following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Messrs. Herman Smith, R. F. Holmes, W. A. Young, B. McNally, R. D. Parrott, Jr., and P. X. Smith.
