James Edward Barry died suddenly last night at 9 o'clock at the residence of his 
nephew, C. M. Barry, 512 Mowbray Arch. Mr. Barry was a native and lifelong 
resident of Norfolk and was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. He is survived 
by three nephews, C. M., James E. and F. R. Barry, and two nieces, Mrs. Eleanor 
Booze, Mathews County, and Mrs. Herbert Iasigi, Los Angeles, Cal. Funeral 
arrangements will be announced later.
