Mrs. Nora Byrnes Barry, aged 59, wife of Frank L. Barry and daughter of the late 
Thomas and Mrs. Bridget Fenton Byrnes, died yesterday morning at 9 o’clock at the 
residence, 736 West Thirty-first street. Mrs. Barry was a native of Petersburg and 
had been a resident of Norfolk for 50 years. Besides her husband, Frank L. Barry, 
she is survived by two sons, Thomas Byrnes Barry, of St. Mary’s Seminary, Roland 
Park. Md., and Francis E. Barry, of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. Edgar A. Tall, of 
Fairport, and Mrs. Charles Diani, of Norfolk, and an aunt, Mrs. J. J. Carty, of 
Norfolk.

The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial 
avenue, to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church for funeral services Thursday morning 
at 10 o’clock. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be 
held at the Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 8 o’clock.
