Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark March 20, 1931

Charles T. Barry, aged 86 years, a native of New York State and for the last 
60 years a well-known resident of Berkley, died yesterday morning at 2 
o'clock.  He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Grace Barry Wise, of 
Jacksonville, Fla., one son, Charles L. Barry, of Buell, Va. and one 
grandchild.  Funeral services will be held at the grave in Magnolia Cemetery 
tomorrow afternoon at 4 o'clock, with the Rev. M.S. Eagle, rector of St. 
Bride's Episcopal Church, officiating.  Friends are requested by relatives to 
omit flowers.
