A native of Angola, N. Y., and son of Edward and Mrs. Pauline Froehley Barry, he had lived in Norfolk for 45 years. He resided at 736 West 31st Street. A veteran of the Spanish-American War, he was a member also of VFW Post No. 3160, and Fleet Reserve Association No. 60. He was a member of Blessed Sacrament Church and of the Holy Name Society of that church. Surviving are two sons, T. Byrnes Barry, of Richmond, and Frank E. Barry, of Norfolk; a grandson, Richard E. Barry, of Norfolk; two brothers, Thomas Barry, of Steubenville, Ohio, and George A. Barry, of Angola. N.Y. The body will be taken from the H. D. Oliver funeral Apartments to Blessed Sacrament Church for services tomorrow at 9:30 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery. Rosary services will be held at the funeral apartments at 8 o’clock tonight.
