NORFOLK - Frank Edward Barry, 54, of 8132 Deerfield Road died in a hospital 
Thursday. 
He was a lifelong resident of Norfolk.
He was the husband of Mrs. Alice Coleman Barry and a son of the late Frank L. 
and Mrs. Nora A. Barry.
He was a retired Navy chief with 20 years of service. He was a veteran of World 
War II and the Korean War.
He was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Fleet Reserve 60 Association, 
Moose Lodge 39, and Norfolk Lions Club.
Besides his widow, he is survived by a son, Richard Edward Barry of Norfolk, and 
a brother, T. Byrnes Barry of Richmond.
The Rosary will be said in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
A Requiem Mass will be celebrated in St. Pius X Catholic Church Saturday at 11 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
