The Virginian Pilot Tuesday July 21, 1953 
Roy Bartholomew, 56, died at a Lynchburg hospital yesterday at 1 p.m. He is
survived by his stepmother, Mrs. Irma Bartholomew; a stepsister, Mrs. E. R.
Brodeur, and a step brother, E. Cuthbert Blake,Jr., all of Norfolk. Mr.
Bartholomew was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and resided at 925 Modoc Avenue.

Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow
at 2 p.m. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
