NORFOLK — Mrs. Janie Parr Barto], 66, of 819 Norview Ave., widow of Rudolph John 
Bartol and daughter of James Edward and Mrs. Virginia Simpson Parr, died in a 
hospital Sunday at 7:30 a.m.

A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a member of Christ the King Catholic 
Church.

She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Dorothy V. Burlage; three sons, Francis 
Vincent Bartol, Rudolph John Bartol and Joseph Edward Bartol; a brother, Lawrence 
F. Parr, and a sister, Mrs. Loretta Smith, all of Norfolk; 13 grandchildren and 
five great-grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held in Christ the King Catholic Church Tuesday at 10 
a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.

The Rosary will be recited in H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tonight at 7:30.
