Norfolk Virginian-Pilot  June 10, 1949

Mrs. Marjorie Baker Bartol, 27, wife of Joseph Edward Bartol, Sr., died in a 
Richmond hospital Wednesday at midnight.
Mrs. Bartol was a native and former resident of Norfolk and had resided in 
Richmond for the past year. Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, 
Joseph Edward Bartol, Jr., of Richmond; her parents, Harry H. and Mrs. Cora 
Davis Baker, of Norfolk and a sister, Mrs. A.P. Ware, of Suffolk.
The body will be taken from the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments to Sacred Heart 
Catholic Church for services Saturday at 10 a.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's 
Cemetery.  Rosary services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments 
today at 7:30 p.m.
