Final rites for Albert Barton were conducted June 22 at 1 p.m. from the Morning 
Glory Funeral chapel by Elder S. A. Wilson.

He died at his residence, 7420 Gregory drive, June 18, after a short illness at 
the age of 71.

Mr. Barton was a native of Princess Anne County, VA and had lived in Norfolk 52 
years.

Surviving are a son, Linwood Barton;  one grand daughter, Mrs. Thelma McKenny;  
one grandson, Lorenzo Watson and a step-son, Leander Godfrey of Texas.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with the Morning Glory Funeral Home in charge.
