Virginian-Pilot  May 29, 1937
HABIB BASHARA, aged 54, well-known resident of Norfolk for the past 40 years, died 
at 5 o'clock yesterday morning at the residence, 1422 West Forty-ninth street. He 
is survived by five sons, John, Charlie, Joseph, Thomas G. and Fred Bashara; four 
daughters, Miss Mary A. Bashara, Mrs. A. N. Diaz, Mrs. Walter L. Noona and Miss 
Cathryn Virginia Bashara; one brother, Assard Bashara; five grandchildren, and a 
nephew.

Funeral services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, of which Mr. 
Bashara was a member, Monday morning at 10 o'clock. Interment will be in St. 
Mary's  Cemetery.
