Ledger Dispatch September 18, 1920

Mrs. Mary H. Bashara, wife of H. Bashara, died early this morning at the 
residence, 1426 Forty-ninth St., after a protracted illness, in her 40th year. 
She was a native of Syria and had resided in Norfolk twenty-five years. She is 
survived by her husband and nine children. The funeral takes place at 10 am. 
Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Rev. L.J. Ryan officiating. Burial in 
St. Mary's Cemetery.

BASHARA, MARY H. – At the residence, No. 1426 49th Street, Saturday, September 
18, 1920, at 2:20 o’clock a.m., Mary H., wife of H. Bashara, in the 40th year of 
her age.
Funeral services at Sacred Heart Catholic Church Monday morning at 10 o’clock. 
Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, St. Mary’s Cemetery.
