Virginian Pilot August 27, 1966

Miss Mary Anne Bashara, 67,  of 1422 W. 49th St., a daughter of Habib and Mrs. 
Mary Bashara, died Friday at 4:20 a.m. in a hospital.
A lifelong resident of Norfolk, she was a yeomanette in World War I.
She was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church and was employed in the 
printing shop of the City of Norfolk 23 1/2 years.
Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Rose Diaz of Sarasota, Fla. and Mrs. Anne 
Noona and Mrs. Virginia Flora of Norfolk; and four brothers, Charles Bashara Jr. 
and Thomas G. Bashara of Norfolk, Joseph Bashara of Philadelphia and Fred C. 
Bashara of Hampton.
The Rosary will be recited in H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments Sunday at 7:30 p.m.
A funeral service will be held in Blessed Sacrament Chapel, Colley Avenue, 
Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
