BASS, MILDRED MESSICK – At the residence, Seatack, Princess Anne County, Va., 
Saturday, September 27, 1941, at 6 o’clock a.m., MILDRED MESSICK, wife of Roland 
Oliver Bass, and daughter of Anna May Cherry Messick, and the late W. Luther 
Messick, in the 18th year of her age. Funeral services at St. Paul’s Episcopal 
Church, Norfolk, Va., TUESDAY AFTERNOON at 2 o’clock. Friends of the family are 
invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood Cemetery.
