A native of Norfolk, she retired from Colonial Store Warehouse as a laborer. She also retired from the home of Dr. and Mrs. Vernon Cofer as a domestic. She was a member of St. Paul CME Church, where she belonged to the senior female usher board, missionary society and many other church affiliations. Survivors include a niece, Vivian Bowman of Virginia Beach; a nephew, Kermit Foreman Jr. of Norfolk; three great-nieces, Cynthia Bishop of Virginia Beach, Raenese Thomas and Alta Johnson, both of Norfolk; a great-nephew, Carlos Bowman of Virginia Beach; several great-great-nieces and nephews; and a host of other friends and relatives. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at St. Paul CME Church by the Rev. Theodore McKenny. The body will be placed in the church at noon. The family will receive guests at the residence, 5624 Campus Drive, Virginia Beach. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery . Riddick Funeral Service is in charge.
