BASSETT, JAMES ALLEN – At a local hospital, Wednesday, May 30, 1956, at 8:30 a.m., 
JAMES ALLEN BASSETT, husband of Mrs. Minnie M. Bassett and son of the late Jessie 
V. and Mrs. Elizabeth Daisy Cross Bassett, in the 65th year of his age. Services 
at the H. D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, 1501 Colonial Avenue, FRIDAY AFTERNOON at 
2 o’clock. Friends of the family are invited to attend. Interment, Elmwood 
Cemetery.
