Virginian-Pilot, September 19, 1996
Bertha Bromberg Batleman, 94, of the 600 block of Summers Drive, died September 
17, 1996, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Batleman was a native of Poland. She was the widow of Jack Batleman and 
was preceded in death by her daughter Arlene Rosen.
Survivors include her three sons, Harvey L. Batleman of Edison, NJ, Ronald 
Batleman of Manassas, VA, and Alfred J. Batleman of Norfolk, VA; four 
grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. today at B'Nai Israel 
Cemetery by Rabbi Aaron Baer. H. D. Oliver Funeral Apts., Norfolk Chapel, is in 
charge.
