Batte-On Wednesday, December 24, at 2 o’clock p.m., Mrs. Emily C. Batte, relict 
of Judge Peter P. Batte, of Petersburg and daughter of the late Thomas G. 
Broughton of this city. 
Funeral will take place from the residence of her nephew, James H. Pearce, No. 
162 Freemason Street, on Friday December 26th at 12 p.m.
