Virginian-Pilot June 29, 1914
BATTEN – At Memphis, Tenn., Sunday, June 21st, 1914, ANNIE E. BATTEN, widow of 
George F. Batten, aged 69 years.
The funeral will take place THIS (Monday) AFTERNOON, June 29, at 4 o’clock, from 
H. C. Smith’s funeral apartments, No. 306 Bank street. Friends of the family 
respectfully invited to attend. Interment will be in Elmwood cemetery.
