Virginian-Pilot May 26, 1910
The funeral of the late Capt. J. H. Baughan, who died at the family residence, 37 
North Main street, was conducted from the above residence yesterday afternoon at 4 
o’clock. REV. E. W. Cowling and Rev. W. W. Lear, D. D., of St. Thomas Episcopal 
and Memorial Methodist churches, respectively, officiated.		
A delegation of the members of Pickett-Buchanan Camp, Confederate Veterans, of 
which the deceased was a member, attended in a body.
The remains were laid to rest in Elmwood cemetery.
