Norfolk Virginian July 30, 1889

Mrs. MAE E. BAUM, the wife of Dr. Orion Baum, of Princess Anne County, Va., and 
daughter of Capt. S.H. Travers, of Baltimore, Md., died July 29th, 4 o'clock 
a.m., after a long illness. Her mother was a Miss Schuler, a member of the 
Virginia family of that name,; aged 22 years.

Mae, thy in health I loved thee with all my heart,
In thy sickness I loved thee without a touch of art;
At last you have left me,
I bow to God's wise will,
But in death and life I loved thee and ever, ever will.
                               HUSBAND
