Virginian-Pilot  July 9 & 10, 1911
On Saturday, July 9, 1911, at 6:20 o'clock a.m., Michael Bauso (Burns), died in 
the 53rd year of his age.
Remains will be taken from the residence, No.239 Chapel Street, to St. Mary's 
Catholic Church for funeral services this (Sunday) afternoon at 4 o'clock.  
Friends of the family are invited to attend.

The funeral of Michael Banso (sic) Burns was held from St. Mary's Catholic Church 
at 4 o'clock yesterday and was largely attended, including the Italian Association 
and the Eagles, of which organizations the deceased was a member.  Requiem mass 
was celebrated by Rev. Father Kelliher.  During the obsequies, Mrs. James Hughes 
sang "In the Hour of Trial".  The floral tributes were beautiful, among them a 
wreath from the Italian Association and a pillow from the Eagles.
The interment was in St. Mary's Cemetery.  Following were the pallbearers:
Italian Association - Joseph Fricarvo, Frank Murabeilo.
Eagles - J.M. Arnold, R.M. Owen.
Citizens - Thomas Salerno, N. Gravatta, Joseph Caprio and M. Reuggueri.
