Eugenia L. ''Jeanie'' Baxter, 87, died Saturday, July 22, 2000, in Chesapeake 
Healthcare Center. 

Mrs. Baxter was born in Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Frank Tyson 
and the late Virginia Gayle Tysor Tyson. She was the widow of Thomas L. Baxter 
Sr. Mrs. Baxter was a member of Zion Grace United Methodist Church. 

She is survived by one daughter, Barbara B. Rule and her husband, Guy, of 
Norfolk; one son, Thomas L. Baxter Jr. and his wife, Diana, of Chesapeake; four 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. 

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Elmwood Cemetery with 
the Rev. Brad Dulaney officiating. Twiford Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, 
Chesapeake, is handling arrangements.
