Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark October 20, 1930

BAXTER --Of Dozier's Corner, Norfolk County, at the home of his son, W.F. 
Baxter, 3102 Verdun avenue, Norfolk City, Saturday night, October 18, 1930, 
WILLIAM JACKSON BAXTER, a native of Currituck, N.C., a son of the late 
William F. and Mrs. Mahala Sanderlin Baxter and husband of Mrs. Achsa 
Virginia Upton Baxter, aged 66 years.
The body was taken to the funeral home of Graham & Sykes, 124 East Berkley 
avenue, where funeral services will be conducted MONDAY AFTERNOON, October 
20, 1930, at 3 o'clock.  Friends are invited. The place of burial will be 
announced later.
