Baylor. The funeral will take place at 11 o'clock THIS (Tuesday) MORNING, 9th instant, from Christ Church. The friends and acquaintances of the family are invited to attend. *************************** A Former Norfolk Lady Dead The many friends in this city of Mrs. Robt B. Baylor, the late esteemed wife of Mr. Robert B. Baylor, formerly of Norfolk, will be pained to hear of her death yesterday morning at the residence of her husband in Baltimore. Mrs. Baylor was a native of Norfolk, and the second daughter of the late J.L. Bloodgood of this city. The remains will be brought here and the funeral will take place at eleven o'clock this morning from Christ P.E. Church. Baylor, whose death was alluded to in our last issue, arrived here yesterday morning from Baltimore, on the steamer Virginia of the Baltimore Steam Packet Company, and were conveyed to Christ Episcopal Church, from which the funeral took place at 11 a.m., Rev. John B. Newton, D.D., rector of St. Luke's P.E. Church, officiating in the absence of the rector, Rev. O.S. Barten. At the conclusion of the services at the church the remains were conveyed to Elmwood Cemetery and there interred in the Baylor family lot, the following gentlemen acting as pallbearers: George R. Wilson, R. Frank Hunter, Dr. Alexander Tunstall, R.W. Tunstall, W.C. Hardy and Geo. Chamberlaine.
