Norfolk-Funeral rites were held Monday for Mrs. Frances Bazemore,38, of 828
Mariner street, in Antioch Baptist Church where she held membership.  The Rev.
J. W. Matthews officiated.

The Windsor, NC, native was a daughter of Duncan and Mrs. Ada Cherry and the
wife of Archie Bazemore.

Besides her husband, surviving are seven daughters; Mrs. Janie Barcliff, Misses
Shirley Bazemore, Brenda Bazemore, Audrey Bazemore,Gilda Bazemore, Jacqueline
Bazemore and Jeanette Bazemore, all of Norfolk;  four brothers, William Cherry
and James Cherry of New York, David Cherry and John Cherry of Norfolk;  three
sisters, Mrs. Ruby Bunch of Windsor, NC, Mrs. Mildred Carter of Franklin and
Mrs. Mary Parker of Norfolk; and a grandchild.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery with Graves Funeral Home handling the
arrangements.
