The Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark July 18, 1931
Mrs. Sarah Frances Stokes Beale, aged 78, died yesterday morning at 3 o'clock 
at her home 307 West Indian River Road. She was a widow of Wilson W. Beale and 
was a lifelong resident of Norfolk. Several nieces survive her.
 Funeral services will be held Sunday afternoon at 3:30 o'clock at the Memorial 
Methodist Church with the Rev. Joseph S. Gresham officiating. Interment will be 
in Magnolia Cemetery. Friends are asked by the family to omit flowers.
