Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch, November 25, 1926
Miss Margaret Ritter Beale, age 82 years, daughter of the late Charles Henry 
and Marie Harwood Beale, died Wednesday morning at 3:20 o'clock, at Azalea, 
N.C. She was a native of Norfolk, and spent her entire life here until about 
three years ago. She was a teacher in the public schools and later in private 
schools here. She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Alice M. Fuller, of Azalea, 
N.C., and a brother, Henry H. Beale of Norfolk. Remains will be taken from H. 
D. Oliver's funeral apartments, No. 610-612 East Freemason Street to Christ 
Church of which she was a member for services Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock. 
Rev. F. C. Steinmetz, S.T.D., officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Grove.
