Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark January 27, 1916 

The funeral of Alpheus Beale was conducted at the funeral apartments of E. Lee Cox 
in Berkley Avenue yesterday morning by Rev. E.T. Dadnum, pastor of Memorial 
Methodist Church.
Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery and the pallbearers were W.L. Berkley, E.C. 
Savage. w. Taylor Sivils and W.P. Cullins.
