Virginian Pilot August 26, 1953

Mrs. Mary Clair Beall, 79, widow of Orlander H. Beall and daughter of the late 
Charles H. and Mrs. Emma Conrow Clair, a native of Mount Vernon, and a resident 
of Norfolk for 60 years, died Monday at noon in a local hospital.
She was a member of Temple Baptist Church and resided at 2704 Lafayette 
Boulevard.
Surviving are one son Herbert Beall, of Norfolk and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted in the chapel of the Derry-Twiford Funeral 
Home today at 11 a.m. by the Rev. W. W. Williford, secretary of the Virginia 
Transit Company YMCA. Burial will be in Elmwood.
