Virginian Pilot May 2, 1948

Mrs. Margaret Herschel Beaman, 71 wife of Erastus Beaman, died at a Norfolk 
hospital Friday at 10:45 p.m. Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons, 
M.C. Kreisel, of Norfolk, and S.A. Kreisel, of Baltimore; two brothers, William 
Herschel, of Norfolk, and walter Herschel, of New York City; a sister, Mrs. 
Lesa Hebron, of Berlin, Germany, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The body will be taken from the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home to the First 
Lutheran church for funeral services this afternoon at 5:30 o’clock, conducted 
by the Rev. L.W. Strickler, D.D., pastor of the church. Burial will be in Cedar 
Grove Cemetery.
