Norfolk Journal and Guide, Oct 9,1943
Funeral services for Surry Beamon, 54, of 622 Chapel street, who died in the 
Marine Hospital on September 28, were held at Hale's Chapel on October 1, with 
the Rev. E. W. Williams officiating. Interment was made in Calvary Cemetery 
with Hale in charge of arrangements.
