Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark August 15, 1925

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Beane, widow of C.A. Beane, died yesterday morning at 10 
o'clock at her home, 717 Southampton Avenue, after an illness of four months. She 
was a member of LeKies Methodist Church and was a native and lifelong resident of 
Norfolk. She is survived by four daughters, Mrs. A.S. Wilkinson, Mrs. G.H. Derring 
and Mrs. E.L. Ballance, of Norfolk and Mrs. Dave Willard, of Baltimore; 15 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at LeKies 
Methodist Church. Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
