Beard, wife of James W. Beard, will take place tomorrow morning at the residence, Coleman Place, Norfolk County, and will be conducted by Rev. Robert P. Kealey, of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Mrs. Beard died late Friday night after a lingering illness. She was a native of Rockingham County and was well known and highly esteemed in this section. She is survived by her husband, a daughter, Mrs. M.P. O'Neal and a son, Robert W. Beard, all of Norfolk. ******************************************************************************** The funeral of Mrs. Laura V. Beard, wife of James W. Beard, was held from the residence in Coleman Place, yesterday morning at 10 o'clock. The Rev. G. B. Kealey of St. Mary's Catholic Church conducted the services. Interment was made in St. Mary's Cemetery. The pallbearers were W. A. Foster, George Regan, James F. Bell, G. M. Dixon, C. B. Carroll.
