Norfolk - A funeral service was held Sunday in Mt. Gilead Baptist Church for 
Mrs. Julia Gee Beasley of 918 Tyler street.  The Rev. John R. Gray delivered the 
eulogy.  Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.  Mrs. Beasley died July 14 in her 
home.

The Emporia native was the daughter of Robert Gee and Mrs. Lelia Gee, and the 
wife of Albert Beasley.  She was a member of Mt. Gilead.

Besides her husband, surviving are two brothers, James H. Gee and Lonnie Spencer 
of Norfolk;  and two sisters, Mrs. Louise McKlavaine of Baltimore and Miss 
Geneva Gee of Norfolk.
