Virginian-Pilot March 30, 1909
Mrs. Cora Beaver, wife of James M. Beaver, died at her home, Avenue A and Church 
street, at 3:45 p.m. Sunday, aged 29 years. Besides her husband, she is survived 
by three children.
The funeral will be held from the residence at 11 o’clock this morning and will be 
conducted by Rev. T. J. Taylor of the Queen Street Methodist church. The deceased 
was a native of North Carolina but had resided here for 12 years.
