Robert Beaver, 63, died April 3, 2004, in Columbus, Ohio. He was born in 
Fairmount, W.Va. to the late Hardy Baylor and Yvonne Beaver Baylor. 

Beaver was a Vietnam veteran and retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of 
service. He worked in the shipbuilding industry for 13 years. 

He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Novella M. Stewart Beaver; three sons, 
Johnny Lee Beaver, Curtis Kevin Beaver and Robert E. Beaver of Virginia Beach; 
one special daughter, Stephanie Y. Beaver of Virginia Beach; three brothers, 
Hardy Joseph Baylor (Beatrice), Charlie Baylor and Kenneth Baylor (Carolyn) of 
Fairmount, W.Va.; special friends, Paulette Baylor, Joseph Balance, Cheryl 
Balance, Elijah Ben Denson and Geno; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

A funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the chapel of Metropolitan Funeral 
Service, 7246 Granby St. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery , Norfolk. Family 
and friends will assemble at 5124 Andover Court, Virginia Beach, one hour prior 
to the service for the procession to the chapel. To send condolences and sign
