Virginian Pilot and Norfolk Landmark January 4, 1932
Mrs. Martha Virginia Lamannes Beazley, aged 61, widow of George H. Beazley and 
daughter of the late James and Alice Ann Eustis Jones, died at her residence, 819 
Westover avenue, yesterday morning at 10:35 o'clock.  Mrs. Beazley was a native 
and lifelong resident of Norfolk, and was well known and highly esteemed by a 
large circle of friends.  She is survived by one sister, Mrs. Mamie Lamannes 
Bullock and one uncle, Walter V. Eustis, both of Norfolk.  Funeral services will 
be held at the residence tomorrow at 12 o'clock noon, with the Rev. Sparks W 
Melton, D.D., pastor of Freemason Street Baptist Church, officiating.  Interment 
will be private in Elmwood Cemetery.
