Mary Rose Contrado Beck, 90, of the 2900 block of Mihiel Ave., died Oct. 25, 2000.

Mrs. Beck was a native of Norfolk and was the daughter of the late Pasquale J. and
Angela M. Contrado. She was the widow of Joseph C. Beck and was a member of Christ
the King Catholic Church in Norfolk.

Survivors include her two sisters, Virgie C. Robertson, Antoinette C. "Toni" Baxter;
her brother, Vincent P. Contrado; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Christ the King
Catholic Church by Father Brian Rafferty. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic
Cemetery. Prayer services will be held Sunday in the Norfolk Chapel of H.D. Oliver
Funeral Apts. at 4 p.m.
