Norfolk - William A. Beckett of 344 Nicholson street died in Hampton Veterans 
Hospital.

A native of Marionsville, he was a son of John H. and Mrs. Virginia C. Beckett.

He was a retired employee of Security Van and Storage Co., and an Army veteran 
of World War II.

He is survived by two brothers, John A. Beckett of Marionsville and Smith 
Beckett of Norfolk, and two sisters, Mrs. Alice Anderson and Mrs. Elizabeth 
Patterson of Norfolk.

Services were held in Hale Funeral Home by the Rev. A. R. Powell. Burial, with 
full military honors, was in Calvary Cemetery.
